Stazza’s Super Shaders is a trendy shader pack for the original Shaders Mod by Karyonix or Optifine, and there’s a good reason for this – it just works. While many shaders seem to be plagued by bugs and loaded with crappy content, confusing colors, and objects that won’t stop moving, as if there’s a constant tornado making the world whirl around, you don’t get those things from Stazza’s Super Shaders. This fits the bill for a simple shader pack that focuses on lighting and shading elements rather than altering the world in weird ways. If you’re looking for something like that, you found it.
Like many other shader packs, Stazza’s Super Shaders takes little bits and pieces from Chocapic13’s Shaders, which is one of the most popular and well-known shader packs for Minecraft to date. Some features from the KUDA Shaders pack have also made their way into here, including the dirty lens effect when standing in or around the fire and improved lens flare visuals. The end product is something that’s bold, bright, and beautiful but not plagued by unnecessary colors and strange gradients of gray. More than anything, the lights, shadows, and textures look natural, which makes this a realistic shader pack.
Requirements for Stazza’s Super Shaders pack are relatively high and even higher when talking about the Ultra version of the mod, which is one of the most demanding shader packs ever. There’s no way you’ll be able to use Stazza’s Super Shaders while relying on integrated Intel graphics, so you’re going to need a good GPU, and you’re going to need to make sure it’s compatible too. With additions like variable penumbra shadows, enhanced bloom effects, and specular lighting during rainy weather, this shader pack makes it easier to see many things in Minecraft when you normally wouldn’t be able to.
Surely, some players will consider this cheating, but how many times have you been out in a rainstorm and become totally blind to what was around you? The rain would have to be coming down pretty hard for that to happen, but that’s precisely what happens whenever it rains at all in Minecraft, and Stazza’s Super Shaders make the bold move of fixing that issue. With no significant bugs, glitches, or errors to worry about and regular updates still coming along every few months, this is definitely one of the better shader packs out there, and it comes highly recommended.

I love the look and feel of this 150% but when I am underground light shows up in the corners and edges of some of the blocks. I have most of the settings and a lot of combinations and haven’t been able to fix it. Changing resource packs doesn’t help either. I’m using the 1.12.2 shaders for MC 1.12.2 on Direwolf20 1.12.2 plus some mods and minus some mods, though I wouldn’t think modpacks should make a difference. I’m using the latest version of optifine too. Is this a known bug and if not what can I give you to help fix it?
Does anyone have a fix for the weird skybox thing? It takes away the clouds and sun when I look up.
I’m not sure if this is intentional or not but anytime I look near the sun the whole game gets darker the closer you get to looking at it. Looking directly at it literally makes everything go totally black. I would really love a way to turn this off as besides that little setting it is by far my favourite shader pack.
I have this same problem too.
PLEASE FIX THIS i would like for this too, its my favorite shaders but it would be better with clear water like other shaders ?
Anyone else have a weird glitch where the water looks super bad and pixely, but its ONLY on specific multiplayer servers? (not all of them and none have mods installed). mainly how do i fix it for a private server with my friends?
Everything was good, i played, I thought “nice shaders, wow”
SUDDENLY EVERYTHING WAS RED AND ORANGE AND MINECRAFT CRASHED.
Great post! Have nice day ! :) xnvjr
Everythime I try to click on the links, an ad opens up. how can i fix this?
It´s not working with optfine, to me it says Invalid program: composite
composite1
composite2
final
shadow
and the version is 1.12 (optifine)
IKR
Does anyone know how to make this shader brighter at night?
