The KUDA Shaders mod is one of the most popular shader packs of all time for Minecraft 1.18.2. This is because it’s a well-made addition, with very few bugs and a high degree of compatibility when it comes to various other popular mods, like Optifine. KUDA Shaders only recently made it out of Beta and into a real, full release, just earlier this month around January 30, 2018. The main reason there are so few bugs and so much compatibility is that KUDA Shaders was in development for so long. Now that it’s finally finished, there shouldn’t be any glitches or errors to worry about anymore.
With the first fully stable release of KUDA Shaders, many people are finally giving this shader pack a try and testing it out for themselves. With cool special effects like a volumetric fog that seems to move and breathe like it’s a living thing, as well as great-looking default textures without needless motion blur and other strange, unwanted effects, KUDA Shaders delivers just the right balance of things players want and things they don’t want. That is, it’s full of great features everyone likes, and nothing that people hate. That doesn’t mean it’s a perfect shader pack though, even with all that time in development.
The bloom effect seems a little weird sometimes, with light flares happening in places where you wouldn’t normally expect them to happen, or being bolder or more pronounced than you would imagine. But this is a relatively little “bad” thing compared to the heap of good things that KUDA Shaders do for players. This shader pack requires more system resources than most because of just how much it does, so you shouldn’t even try to use it with integrated graphics. A good graphics card is pretty much a necessity if you want to use this shader mod.
Because it does so many things so well, KUDA Shaders comes highly recommended, not just by this author but also by most of the players who have tried it before. It’s come a long way now since its beta days and many issues have been ironed out and removed, so what you’re left with is a highly functional shader pack that simply makes Minecraft look better. KUDA Shaders still suffers from some of the same issues that plague other shaders though, like environmental shadows that seem to wiggle and move while the player is moving, but these issues are not enough to make this mod look bad.

it’s good 15 FTPS but it isn’t lag wow
is it possible to have the black border thing that shows what black ur looking at to show up cuz i keep misclicking without it ;-;
I’ve had kuda for a while, but I just noticed that none of the standard moving texture (ie. lava, nether portal, fire) are moving with the shaders on. Did I mess something up?
Minecraft crashed because my laptop only has 4 gb of ram god damn it.
the fact that you are using ad.fly for the download of this shader when its not even yours and you forked it over to your site really says something
Where is the download?
Its so cool
Very cool I recommend
Hey it might just be me but this made my fps tank from 60 to 10-, is there any way to solve this issue?
Hi, I got problems with the shader. I fix most of them by deleting compositing files (such as the second one which created annoying pixels on my screen like a bad vintage effect), but I still have bugged shadows (shadows which follow me) and there’s strong light blue lines on the water which forms kind of a grid. Does someone knows how to fix it ? I can send screens if the creator allows me to report the bugs.
does anyone know why i have a brightness issue??
Very good. I think you should youse this website because it’s a good way to get what you want for Minecraft or for whatever game you want to get. Try it out now.
This so great… KUDA is amazing
What a meme
Everything is black, but I can move around and break stuff. It says in the chat:
[Shaders] Error: Invalid program “gbuffers_water”
[Shaders] Error: Invalid program “composite”
[Shaders] Error: Invalid program “composite1”
Anyone know how to fix this?
There is this persistent “fog” in the distance, even though I have disabled fog in the options. Any idea how to get rid of it to get clear graphics? This is literally the only issue I have, but enough to make me not use this shader pack. Thanks!
I’m on a Mac, I have Optifine, I downloaded 6.1 Legacy, but when I load this pack through the shaders menu all I get is black screen and a string of error messages in-game. Help?
why the water still same, not realistic. sorry if my english so bad. please hrlp me
So you wrote it should work for 1.13.1 but it doesnt for me, am i doing something wrong?
Water refraction in kuda shaders v6.1 doesn’t work on minecraft 1.13.1 with optifine 1.13.1
When I changed settings to mc1.12.2 with optifine for that version of game everything worked fine
*grammer
great shader for overworld play, but not recommended for playing most of the Aquatic Update content. it’s just way too dark in deep water; unless you crank light and brightness settings to max and spam sea pickles everywhere, you just won’t be able to see much at all. the wavy underwater camera effect or whatever also gets downright nauseating after a while, would be nice if there was a way to turn that off.
I have an issue where my field of vision is scaled down to 1/4 of my screen. My health/food tool bar as well as settings are full screen.
I don’t see any lag so I assume it’s not a performance based issue.

Everyone in this comment section has horrible grammar. It makes my head hurt.
THIS TEXTURE IS AWESOME
I don’t have GLSL and it works fine for me.
GLSL shader mod official website is not working so I can’t download GLSL shader mod therefor can’t use this shader !!!
No I have used this before it is reliable
this is a awsom shader god work
All of the entities are purple
Strange… I don’t have a folder called “shaderpacks” in .minecraft
Someone knows why?
Moreover, the shader is quite thick; therefore, you need a great computer configuration to run smoothly.
I have an issue where rain doesn’t appear over water. It rains about water but the particles seem to just stop at the top of water and appear again under it. Looking at water at about a 45 degree angle gives it a really weird look. I tried demonstrating this as best I could below (| = rain, ~ = water)

I have a Very very low end pc but at least i can play it with 15-20 FPS and it look Really nice!
Thanks for creating this shaderpack
My PC have :
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2637M CPU @ 1.7GHZ 1.7GHZ
is this a virus?
Really awesome pack you made! It’s in a perfect balance of being a good looking shader pack and not dropping me down to 10-15 fps.
But I got a concern though. I’m playing with a bunch of other mods, one of them is Immersive Engineering. But it seems like when I have your pack enabled a few of the models gets slightly distorted. This is for almost all models from IE and other mod’s models.
Sorry I’m writing here, I couldn’t find any kind of link to Github or from Google. Keep up the good work!
Is anybody else lagging a lot with this shaders pack?
Everytime i mine something my game crashes. How to fix?
So cool
would love it if thr torch would glow in my hand
Is low pc/high pc
were is the button to download?
I want old moon/sun models option feature
Want standart moon option feature
Your link goes through adf.ly which is no longer able to be used due to a redirect bug that covers the skip ad button.
Dont bother with this one. The hoops you have to jump through just to get to a download page, and it never completes. There’s got to be a less sleazier way to get paid.
Best Shaders pack so far, Geforce 980 GTX, looks amazing, great work
I found a bug. When you put down water and let it fall and then but and block next to it you see some red outlines trought the block. please fix and for more info contact me!
I downloaded this pack and the water disappears and i dont know how to fix it
How do I get it to work? I downloaded it but I didnt have a folder to put it in so I put it in mods and the resourcepacks folder and it still didnt show up? help pls?

I’m using this with Farming Valley 0.7,1. Has anyone had the problem of night looking like daytime?
It’s possible make port of this shaders for mcpe/win10ed?
It looks great, but the nether portal doesn’t reflect on the water and looks odd.
What? it does.
Great mate I rate 8/8
wow it so cool
Best Shaders I’Ve Seen! But How Do I Remove The Sun & Moon, I Want The Default Ones!

Wah lagi eror ngga bisa pasang aplikasi nih…..
With an i5 6500 and a rx 480, on ultra and a render distance of 8, I get around 60 fps. One thing that bothers me is that the cpu is at around 100% all the time. Is that normal? Also, after I exit minecraft, the process Java platform se binary (which has a 70% cpu usage) remains until I manually stop it. Is there any way to solve it?
hey, I’m sorry but I tried downloading this, and my computer shows that this file exists, but the file doesnt appear to be effecting minecraft forge AT ALL. I should note that im using my laptop, i know, im a monster for using a laptop
Is it possible to just have a shader with the wavy foliage effect? That’s all I care about out of these. I don’t want lighting, sky, water, and crap like that.
what the hell why link not working????????
What is the texture pack used for screenshots ?
THIS LOOKS AWESOME
