The Wave Shader for Minecraft 1.12.2/1.11.2/1.10.2

The Wave Shader for Minecraft 1.12.2/1.11.2/1.10.2

Hop on to a unique Minecraft experience as you ride the moving landscape in The Wave Shader mod. Watch the entire landscape rise and fall like the waves of the ocean and challenge yourself not to get sea sick.

What The Wave Shader Pack is About

The Wave Shader Pack 1.12.2/1.11.2 is a unique pack created by username Beed28. This pack involves transforming the entire terrain and making every block move with the wind before your very eyes. The pack doesn’t have any other feature on top of it, and instead, focuses on solely moving the blocks. Although similar to the Acid Shaders, the Wave Shader pack does not make the movement random and instead makes everything move regardless of distance and direction.

Waves Everywhere

With this pack installed, every tree, every dirt, every soil, and just about every block will move like a wave in the sea. Why, you ask? Because it’s fun! This Shader pack also makes the sky, the clouds, the sun, and the moon wave along with everything.

Seafarer’s Dream Come True

Because of the way this shader pack is designed, it is perfect for special adventure maps like sea faring, stranded on a boat scenario, and more.

Nauseating Challenge

The pack makes everything move! If you are prone to sea sickness then this pack will make you want to vomit in less than 10 minutes. But if you want a challenging Minecraft experience, then this pack will definitely make your game way more challenging than it’s supposed to be.

Performance Friendly

Because this unique Shader pack alters only the blocks and how they behave visually, it does not touch any of the lighting and shadow effects that will tax your computer. This makes the Shader pack usuable on low-end PCs. To make sure that the lighting doesn’t get buggy, you can turn on the OldLighting option in the Shader screen.

Should You Use It?

It depends; are you, or will you, use a specific adventure map about the sea? If that’s a yes, then go ahead and install this unique pack to make your adventure more immersive and challenging. If not, then you better skip this pack to avoid vomiting and nauseating. However, if you are having fun with friends, you can use this Shader pack as a challenge on who can last longer! Just a fair warning though, the Waves Shader pack will make you sea sick!

How to install The Wave Shader pack?

As with the other Shader Packs, the Waves requires either Karyonix’s GLSL Shader Mod or the more modern Optifine Mod for the latest Minecraft versions.

To install the Shader pack, follow the steps below.

  1. Download and install first the required mods (Optifine, etc.)
  2. Make sure that you have the latest driver installed for your graphics card.
  3. Download the Waves Shader Pack from below button.
  4. Put the downloaded .zip file to the Shaderpacks folder located in the minecraft directory.
  5. In the Shader selection screen option, turn the OldLighting option on for this shader.
  6. Have fun floating in the sea of land!
