MrMeep’ Shaders for Minecraft 1.12/1.11.2/1.10.2

Shaders have been a great way to spice the pixelated graphics of Minecraft to something more vivid and realistic. MrMeep’ Shaders are not an exception to this idea, and this shaders pack adds tons of features that are sure to enhance the graphical experience from basic to bold in one easy download.

There are tons of shaders packs out there, and each one has something that makes them unique and sets them apart from other shaders packs. MrMeep’ Shaders play well on the natural lighting aspect of Minecraft. In the early morning, the world will look bright and crisp. The light of a morning sun should feel invigorating, and this shaders pack brings that feeling to the game. Once the sun starts to settle down for the night, the light will feel more cozy, as it should. This shaders pack is ideal for those who want to integrate the natural feel of light to their Minecraft experience.

Shadows are also developed well in this shaders pack. The reach and darkness of shadows depend on where the sun is sitting up in the sky, adding yet another sense of realism to Minecraft. The level of contrast is incredible as well, giving the bright light this shaders pack adds something to compare to. Even stark and snowy landscapes will feel cheery and warm with MrMeep’ Shaders.

To add to these warm lighting effects, there have also been many new features added in the latest edition of MrMeep’ Shaders. To note a few, torchlight, water, and lens flare are some features that have been tinkered with or revamped completely. Sky colors have been enhanced as well, a feature that perfectly compliments the incredible detail put into sunlight. Dynamic lighting is something experimented with as well. For example, players can enable or disable lens flare. If a player is looking for a more scenic, cinematic feel to their world, enabling lens flare would be a great option. For those who want to stick to the traditional feel of sunlight along with the enhancements this shaders pack adds, lens flare can be disabled as well. Another great example of the dynamic lighting this shaders pack adds is torchlight. If a player is holding a torch, the torchlight will create a small spread around their character and will even light up a small area around them!

Water is also enhanced in this shaders pack as well. Of course, nothing is functionally changed about how water works with this shaders pack, but it does look a lot nicer. Water now reflects light at an incredible level, much like how it would with real water. Arguably, the level of reflection in this shaders pack is actually nicer than most bodies of water seen in reality. A lot of times, water is too murky to reflect light, but water with this shader pack is crystal clear and forms natural waves as seen on a windy day.

How to install MrMeep’ Shaders Pack?

  1. The first step is to download and install the GLSL Shaders Mod on your Minecraft client!
  2. Now go to:
    • Windows => %appdata%\.minecraft
    • Mac OS X => ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
    • Linux => ~/.minecraft
  3. Search for the “shaderpacks” folder.
  4. Move the downloaded .zip into the shaderpacks folder.
  5. Now you can select shader in-game from Options/Shaders!
  6. That was all!

      @Wedgii: If you use Optifine Ultra, turn off “Advanced OpenGL”. If this doesn’t fix the problem I assume you use a Nvidia graphics card. If so, you have to turn off “Threaded Optimizing” in the Nvidia control panel. This worked for me.

    i installed the shader, but no download will appear and i haven’t got a shaderspack in my folder %appdata%\ .minecraft

    Guys it’s super easy just click on which shader you want for an example I picked on V05 Lite and it will take you to a download page here is the lite one just click //delete

    But you need Optifine to have the shaders Folder in your .Minecraft Folder

    Little help, I don’t know why it’s not working for me but here’s what I did: I installed the shaders mod. I loaded it up on minecraft to make sure it didn’t crash my game. I downloaded the v05Ultra+ version of MrMeep’s shader mod. I put it in the folder. I selected it in the shaders menu in game and…. when I pressed done and went back to the game…. I just saw a blue screen. Don’t know if it’s just me, but a little help 😛 Btw Itzz Javier, what do you mean you need OptiFine? I have it for 1.8, but it still doesn’t work ;P

    I suddenly lost all animated grass and flower-effects. Trees still works but not grass and wheat and stuff. The shadows are waving though, which seems quite strange.

    Love it. Only issue is that the torches let off too much of a red colour in my home. Besides that it is a good shader pack and I will be using it from now on. Cheers!

  7. Toad

    Great shader.
    The only complaint I have, is with the block outlines…
    They’re bright white, and look awful. Please give the option to revert to the older black block outlines.

    This pack won’t work on multiplayer. It seems to work alright on singleplayer however it says there’s an error with ‘composit 1’.

    that isn’t notch he left in 2014 and i found that picture online anyone could have copied it also i can’t find the download button a little help please? NOTE: NOTch’s name isn’t Marcus Persson and notch gave the bussness to jeb which then handed it over to Micosoft windows which they still own to the present day there is even a blog about it, (sorry couldn’t copy the site if you wanted to chime in).
